Examples of work in process:
Based on a request from a Chief Medical Officer here in Southern California, Felbro has designed and is currently manufacturing a PPE Cleaning Station to hold N95 and surgical masks…Like other Doctors, nurses and hospitals, everyone is looking for ways to stretch the use of their PPE…Please see testimonial below from a CMO whose staff has already begun using the first version…
Key features:
- Copper hooks hold up to 15 individual masks.
- Shelves hold goggles.
- Adjustable hooks on sides hold up to 5 face shields (or other PPE items).
- Front lip has dry-erase finish to identify staff/owner of each mask (marker not included).
- Wipe-Holster accommodates customer-supplied wipes.
- Includes compact shipping carton and quick/easy assembly instructions (upon request, can also be shipped fully-assembled).
Hospitals are benefiting from Miku’s 2-way-communication features more than its breathing-monitor attributes (because patients who need to be monitored for breathing are placed on respirators). In the hospital environment, the Miku camera is proving to be an effective communication tool between staff & patients. Because the Miku provides an “open-mic” on the patient end, medical staff can minimize potential exposure by limiting their need to walk into/out-of negative-pressure rooms. In addition to minimizing potential exposure, reducing the frequency of entrance is also reducing the usage of PPE equipment supplies that are already stretched thin.
ElderCare – While still just preliminary, early testing indicates POTENTIAL use for respiratory-tracking and COVID-19 tracking.
